EuroFIA Meeting in Marrakesh

The EuroFIA group had a meeting in Marrakesh just prior to the FIA Congress. It offered a good opportunity for the group to come together to discuss recent relevant European developments, such as the proposed extnsion of the term of copyright protection and the Green paper on Copyright in the Knowledge Economy. It was also a chance to discuss the EuroFIA project on Gender Portrayal, now in its final phase. The meetings was chaired by delegates from the EuroFIA group coordinator Irish Equity. They also prepared a short report on some of the group's main activities over the past four years in order to feed back to the Congress. That report is available below.
