At the onset of the new European legislature, and encouraged by the statements of the Commissioners-designate in support of the audiovisual sector, the European FIA Group also called on the Member States – responsible for cultural policies – and more particularly the Council Working Party responsible for cooperation between their Ministers of Culture, to promote an ambitious policy within the European audiovisual ecosystem. In this spirit, EuroFIA has subscribed to a joint declaration, co-signed by several organisations in the sector.
