As part of the ongoing joint project work of FIA, FIM, UNI MEI and EFJ on the theme of Atypical Work, we are delighted to announce the Final Project Event:
“Building stronger Unions in the Media, Arts & Entertainment Sector to Tackle the Challenges of Freelance Work, AI and Sectoral Change” taking place in Warsaw on 22-23 April, with English, French, Polish and Spanish language interpretation.
This event will be an important opportunity to look back and restitute the work done on collective bargaining for self-employed and achieving minimum rates in the labour market in the Media, Arts and Entertainment sector, as well as the experience of the unions who have built their organising strategies in the course of the project. We will also launch the findings of the European Survey on the impact of AI on Work in the Media, Arts and Entertainment sector and hear from a panel of experts on how to tackle these challenges. Thanks to our European project funding, we can make available a limited number of reimbursed places to attend this meeting and we invite you to send an expression of interest as soon as possible
