FIA World Congress 2025
Welcome to the 23rd FIA Congress!
This year’s Congress will take place in Birmingham, UK, from Wednesday, November 12, to Saturday, November 15 inclusive (please note that several working groups, regional and linguistic group meetings, as well as meetings of our governing bodies, will also be held that same week, starting on Sunday, November 9, 2025). This is a major event in the life of our organization, held only once every four years, and we hope that all our members will be able to attend and make this a truly memorable experience.
The FIA Secretariat, the Presidium, and our host union, EQUITY UK, are working hard to prepare a stimulating program. The agenda will center around the motions members will be invited to submit to Congress for approval, which will define the main priorities for our policy work over the following four years. Additionally, the Congress will carry out the critical task of electing and renewing the membership of our Presidium and Executive Committee, in accordance with our constitution.

The FIA Congress, Executive Committee, and our largest group meetings will be held at Symphony Hall, 8 Centenary Square, Birmingham B1 2EA. All other meetings will take place at the Library of Birmingham, also located on Centenary Square and just minutes away.
