Capacity building seminar – Accra, Ghana from 13 to 17 October 2016

With the financial assistance of Union To Union, Sweden, FIA has scheduled a workshop in Accra, Ghana, to conclude a three-year endeavor to build the capacity of the Ghana Actors’ Guild (GAG) and enhance its ability to represent the professional interests of performers in the country. Thanks to the invaluable assistance of Equity, UK, a fruitful bilateral cooperation has delivered very promising results, including a considerable membership increase, a new membership database and subscription system as well as a more consistent dialogue with the film producer’s association. The workshop will also be an opportunity to assess the work done and advise about new challenges emerging.
