On April 26 every year, The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) celebrates the World Intellectual Property Day in order to promote discussion of the role of intellectual property (IP) in encouraging innovation and creativity.
FIA president Ferne Downey joined this initiative and talks about her passion for movies and the importance of IP protection for actors in a Video. Fellow FIA member Simon Burke from Australian Actors Equity also shared his thoughts on the film industry as did many performers, directors and other professionals of the sector on this special occasion.
