OIRA stands for Online Interactive Risk assessment Tools. These are occupational health and safety tools made for assessing risks to prevent accidents and ill-health in the workplace. Workplaces in the live performance and audiovisual sector are challenged by very diverse health and safety risks and the European social partners in both sectors have developed OiRA tools to support SMEs in particular to better tackle this key priority. Three EU level tools exist: for live performance venues; live performance productions and audiovisual productions. All three may be found on the European OIRA website:
