Dear colleague,

Thank you for taking an interest in the International Federation of Actors (FIA). As you have certainly already browsed some of the information available on this website, I am assuming that you are familiar by now with our remit and our principles.

Our goal is to represent the interests of all our members at the international level, to assist them network with each other and discuss issues of common concern, to help them grow into truly representative, independent and effective performers’ organisations. Whether they are trade unions, guilds or professional associations, our members share the willingness and determination to improve the working, contractual, safety and social conditions of professional performers in their country; to get actively involved in social dialogue and sit on their behalf at the bargaining table with employers; to be recognized by their government, other interest groups and the overall public as a reliable collective body, able to voice the concerns and interests of the professionals they represent.

If you share these convictions and wish to become a dynamic force in our Federation, we will be happy to welcome you into our membership. To this purpose, please print out and fill in the annexed application form and send it back to us by post.

Please also add a copy of your Constitution, preferably in English or French, as well as a copy of your last audited financial statements, with information regarding your annual income and expenditure.

Your application will be processed in accordance with our Constitution and will finally be acted on by our Executive Committee at its next meeting.
