FIA Future Now, the young members committee of FIA, is organizing its very first online workshop on Visits to Schools on April 24, from 6pm to 8pm CET.
Visits to schools are an efficient and important tool for organizing young workers in the industry. By reaching out to students in drama, dance or circus schools, performers unions can educate future young workers about their rights and prepare the next generation of trade unionists.
To explore this practice and encourage more unions to visits schools and universities, FIA Future Now is inviting speakers from three unions already successfully organizing visits to schools to share their knowledge: Equity UK, Kunstenbond and AEA.
All representatives of FIA member unions under the age of 35 are invited to this online event.
