Celebrating the FIA 22nd World Congress together!
For the first time since the founding of our Federation in 1952, the FIA World Congress took place in a purely virtual format on May 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We asked FIA members around the world to answer a few questions to help celebrate this important event. More info: https://fia22congress.com/
Congresses are very significant landmarks in the life of the Federation. Currently held every four years, they bring together the entire FIA membership with a view to formulating framework policies, passing motions, establishing new priorities and electing members of the Presidium and the Executive Committee.

The FIA Executive Committee meets at least three times in between Congresses. It is composed of at least one representative from affiliated unions in fifteen different countries, comprising the seven countries of the FIA Presidium members. Elections for the FIA Executive Committee are held every four years at Congress.
